November was a blur.1 We were preparing for a move (new apartment!) and dealing with a number of things. I didn’t have many spare cycles left for mindful consumption of anything media.
🎮 Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Xbox – GLORIOUS. Dragon Age: Inquisition is one of my favourite games of all time, and Veilguard looks like a worthy follow-up, at the very least!
Elle Griffin: Mondragon as the new City-State – Great, clear-eyed independent look at one of the largest group of worker coöperations in the World, the Mondragon Corporation in Spains Basque region. Which exists for almost 70 years at this point and is very successful in creating wealth, global business, with happy workers, and great living conditions for the region.
Greg Pogorzelski: “The thing about the Kobayashi Maru” – TOS fan fiction. Kirk and Bones discussing the famous Starfleet no-win scenario sim.
🎤 Janine Harouni: “Stand Up With Janine Harouni (Please Remain Seated)" – Nice, personal hour of stand up. It starts a bit slow; she talks about moving to Europe, and how she deals with family voting for Trump in 2016, but takes up steam after a few minutes. She weaves a nice narrative, and it feels like it’s coming from the heart, jokes and views and everything. I liked it.
🎤 Joel McHale: “Live from Pyongyang” – Fun. It’s basically McHale talking about different gigs he did and cities he went to. It might sounds a bit like “all over the place”, good, because that’s what the special is, but I enjoyed the pace and his occasional “squirrel on meth” delivery.

Heute beschäftigt das Magazin einige der besten Klimareporter des Landes – und bleibt doch unter seinen Möglichkeiten." Ich habe beim Lesen eigentlich die ganze Zeit nur genickt. Hut ab für die Ehrlichkeit.
